Peter John McTague passed away on Wednesday December 8th, 2021 at his home in Newark Delaware where he resided for over 30 years with his wife Judith Williams-McTague, who passed away in 2004, and their five children Gregory, Molly, Patricia, Sean and David. He was 78 years old.
Peter grew up in Plymouth PA. He was the son of John Peter McTague and Mary Domowicz McTague. He attended Saint Vincent de Paul grade school and Plymouth High School where he was a star football and wrestling athlete.
He was an NCO in the Army from 1963 to 1966, serving in the Vietnam Theater. He then went on to an engineering career at Bell Telephone and later AT&T.
Upon retirement he formed PJM Consultants where he was actively involved until 2020.
He was a member of the George M. Dallas Masonic Lodge in PA and the Shrine and Scottish Rite. He was active in the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and numerous VA projects and several community organizations.
He is survived by his children, daughters-in-law Raquel and Leilani, son-in-law Jason and eight grandchildren. Peter also leaves behind his Sisters Patricia Brislin, Jacquelyn Morrone and Brother Michael. He is also survived by his dear canine buddy Frankie.
